文中子王通生于魏晋南北朝乱世末期,由于亲眼目睹政治混乱、兵戈四起带给百姓的灾难,他逐渐孕育出以天下为己任、身体力行传承古代礼乐教化的文化意识。首先,他从理论上界定了乐教的本质,认为乐是对于圣王之德的一种象征与描绘;其次,他指出乐教的作用机制是通过礼乐将其蕴含的道德精神,以一种具体可感、喜闻乐见的形式表现出来,然后在潜移默化中感动聆听者,使之浸润在道德之善、艺术之美中而受到诱导,最终影响其内心世界与外在言行;最后,他通过点评历代礼乐教化、教育弟子、参与政治等实践,试图在隋初重建礼乐。虽然最终未能实现其愿景,但王通乐教思想仍有不可磨灭、值得研究的现代价值。
A study of Wen Zhong Zi's Music Teaching thought
Wang Tong,also known as Wen Zhongzi,was born at the end of the chaos of Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.As a result of witnessing the disaster brought to the people by political chaos and war,he gradually gave birth to the cultural consciousness of taking the world as his own duty and practicing the inheritance of ancient rites and music.Firstly,he defined the essence of music education theoretically,and thought that music was a symbol and description of the virtue of the holy king.Secondly,he pointed out that the action mechanism of music education is to express its moral spirit in a concrete,tangible and pleasant form through ritual music,and then move listeners imperceptibly,so that they can be induced by the goodness of mo-rality and the beauty of art,and finally affect their inner world and external words and deeds.Finally,he tried to rebuild the rites and music in the early Sui Dynasty by reviewing the practice of the rites and music education,teaching disciples,participating in politics and so on.Although he failed to realize his vision in the end,Wang Tongle's thought still has indelible modern value for us to study.
