Wang Yangming's thought of"Nothing outside the Mind"occupies an important position in his academic theory,which is the theoretical foundation of conscience thought and the theory of the unity of knowl-edge and action.Marx's contingency theory affirms man's free will and promotes man's subject value.By analy-zing Wang Yangming's thought of"Nothing outside the Heart"from the perspective of Marx's"contingency"the-ory,we can understand the new connotation in his thought which emphasizes that people should give full play to their subjective initiative,consciously understand the way of heaven,abide by moral norms,and reach the moral realm advocated by the sage.
