Research Progress of Metabolic Changes Associated with Gastric Cancer and its Therapeutic Targets
Gastric cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world, which brings great threat to people's life and health.Due to the lack of specific clinical manifestations of gastric cancer and the lack of attention to preventive screening,90%of patients have advanced to the advanced stage when they are found, mainly chemotherapy and targeted therapy. However, with the long-term applica-tion of chemotherapy and targeted drugs, tumor resistance appears, and gastric cancer cells regain the ability of proliferation,metasta-sis and invasion, which ultimately leads to the death of patients.Chemotherapy resistance of gastric cancer involves a variety of com-plex mechanisms, and metabolic disorders play an important role in the mechanism of tumor drug resistance.Chemotherapy targeting metabolism has always been an effective method to treat cancer.Compared with chemotherapy, targeted therapy has the characteristics of better efficacy and less side effects, but its individual differences are large, and the clinical application range is limited. Therefore,it is of great significance to search for more abundant and effective targets for the treatment of gastric cancer.Metabolic reprogram-ming is considered to be one of the hallmarks of cancer.Metabolic reprogramming provides metabolic requirements for tumor cells, and abnormal tumor metabolism plays an important role in tumor genesis, metastasis, drug resistance and tumor stem cells.Oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes have important effects on cell metabolism, and some methods of tumor treatment have been focused on targeting the metabolism of cancer cells, and have achieved certain efficacy. The therapeutic targets of gastric cancer related metabo-lism are also continuously enriched, and the exploration of metabolic targets for gastric cancer may bring new hope for the treatment of gastric cancer. In this paper, the research progress of metabolic changes and therapeutic targets of gastric cancer will be systematical-ly reviewed,so as to provide certain references for clinical treatment of gastric cancer.
