Comparison of Methods that Lead to Changes in the Nuclear and Cyto-plasmic Positions of hnRNPA1 Proteins in Neurons
Neurodegeneration was an important feature of the progression of multiple sclerosis(MS).Dysfunctions of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1(hnRNPA1)had been shown to be associated with the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases.Clinical studies had shown that influenza A virus infection can promote the aggravation of MS patients, but the specific mechanism was unknown. In neural cell lines, different concentrations of IFN-γ and the autoantibodies against human hnRNPA1 protein induced by influenza A virus can cause the transfer of hnRNPA1 from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and mislocalization. The dysfunctional hnRNPA1 may play an important role in the development and progression of MS disease promoted by influenza virus infection.
