Effects of Atrovent Combined with Pulmicort on Blood Gas Indexes,Serum APC and IL-18 in Patients with Severe Pneumonia
To explore the effects of Atrovent combined with Pulmicort on blood gas indexes, serum activated protein C(APC)and interleukin-18(IL-18)in patients with severe pneumonia,a total of 184 patients with severe pneumonia admitted to the hospital were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group(n=92)and control group(n=92)between February 2020 and February 2023.The control group was given routine treatment, while observation group was additionally treated with Atrovent and Pulmicort. The disappearance time of symptoms and the incidence of adverse reactions, changes of blood gas indexes, lung function indexes[forced vital capacity(FVC)/forced expiratory volume in 1 second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF),maximum mid-respiratory flow(MMF)],APC and IL-18 before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. After treatment, disappearance time of cough, expectoration, lung rales and lung shadow in observation group were shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,PaCO2 and IL-18 in both groups were decreased, which were lower in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05),while levels of PaO2,SpO2,FEV1/FVC,MMF,PEF and APC were increased, which were higher in observation group than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(11.96% vs 9.78%,P>0.05).Atrovent combined with Pulmicort can shorten disappearance time of clinical symptoms, improve blood gas indexes, lung function,APC and IL-18 levels in patients with severe pneumonia, with certain safety.
