摘要

角膜裂伤及角膜炎等角膜疾病为全球致盲的重要原因之一.随着人工智能技术在眼科领域的越来越多地应用,特别是视网膜疾病和青光眼领域的最新进展和潜在前景,人工智能研究人员和临床医生现在正将注意力转向研究较少的眼前段领域.目前,大多数研究都集中于视网膜疾病,而对角膜疾病研究报道所见不多,故作者对人工智能在角膜疾病的应用前景作一综述,以期为人工智能在角膜疾病领域进一步发挥其作用提供参考.此外,文中阐述了与人工智能中机器学习和深度学习等技术相关的基本原理和术语,以期有助于提高眼科医生对这些人工智能技术的理解、研究,从而更好辅助眼科相关临床实施.

Abstract

Corneal diseases such as corneal lacerations and keratitis have become one of the important causes of blindness globally.With the increasing application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of ophthalmology,especially the latest progress and potential prospects in the fields of retinal diseases and glaucoma,artificial intelligence researchers and clinical doctors are now turning their attention to the less researched field of the anterior segment.By now,most researches focus on retinal diseases,while there is not much research on corneal diseases.Therefore,the author provides a review of the application prospects of artificial intelligence in corneal diseases,in order to provide references for further development of artificial intelligence in the field of corneal diseases.In addition,this article demystify some of the basic principles and terminologies related to artificial intelligence,particularly on machine learning and deep learning,to help improve the understanding,research and clinical implementation of ophthalmologists.
