摘要
作为英语的两种区域性变体,美国英语和英国英语一直以来都在为孰优孰劣争论不休.近年来,由于美国的经济科学技术发展迅速以及美国电视电影深远传播,美国英语在全世界传播和普及,远非英国英语所能莫及.本文将从词、短语的用法及语法等方面探讨美国英语对英国英语的影响以及对美国英语对英国渗入原因进行讨论分析.
Abstract
As two regional variants of English,it has always been controversial whether the American English or British English is better.In recent years,American English has been spread more widely than British English for its rapid development of economics and sociology and the deep circulation of TV and movies.The present study mainly investigate the influence of American English on British English from the aspects of their words,phrases and grammars and explore the reasons of the penetration of American English in British English.
