摘要
威廉·戈尔丁是英国当代著名小说家,于1983年获得诺贝尔文学奖,《蝇王》是其处女作,也是代表作.在这部作品中,人性恶这个主题得到了充分的表现.本文将从两个方面来阐述人性恶在小说中的表现.第一部分集中分析了各主要人物背后的寓意以及他们身上直接或间接表现出来的人性恶.第二部分则聚焦于故事情节,在小说一步步深入的发展中,人性恶的本质战胜了人性的善良.本文旨在通过对《蝇王》这部作品中每个普普通通人物以及情节的分析,使人们对《蝇王》,对戈尔丁以及对“人性恶”这个深刻的主题得到进一步的了解.
Abstract
Lord of the Flies is the masterpiece and the most representative work written by William Golding,who is a famous novelist in contemporary English literature and the winner of Nobel Literature Prize of the year 1983.In this work,the theme — Humanity Evil is perfectly showed.The paper will analyze Humanity Evil from two aspects.In the first chapter,the meaning of main characters will be discussed,and from them,the Humanity Evil can be found.Chapter two analyzes some vital plots in the whole story,which are powerful evidences of the degeneration of human nature.The purpose of this paper is through the analysis of characterization and plots,the readers will have a much better understanding of Lord of the Flies,of William Golding and of human nature.
