摘要

作为影响二语习得的重要情感变量之一,焦虑情绪受到越来越多的外语教学研究者的关注.本文从焦虑对英语听力的负面影响及引发焦虑情绪的原因入手进行分析,从而提出降低焦虑情绪的方法策略.具体引起焦虑的原因是纷繁复杂的,包括不当的听力材料和听力技巧以及对英语国家文化的忽略等原因.笔者针对以上因素提出建议和对策,希望能帮助读者清除障碍,掌握良好的英语听力理解能力.

Abstract

During the process of English learning,speaking and listening seem to be the most challenging as well as important skills to master for EFL learners.There remain a large number of students who feel frustrated to fail the listening comprehension.Though linguists emphasize that language learning conforms to the natural principle of language acquisition,it is enormously affected by many other factors,such as affective factors,among which anxiety is considered as one of the most important affective variables.The paper aims at discussing the negative impacts of anxiety on English listening and the causations of such anxiety,and it dedicates to putting forward some strategies accordingly to break down such affective barriers.
