摘要
罗伯特·勃朗宁是英国维多利亚时代的一位重要浪漫主义诗人.其典型代表作《我最后的公爵夫人》不仅娴熟地运用了戏剧独白,还将读者带入了一场无声的谋杀案.本文试从女性主义角度解读该诗,旨在阐释公爵夫人身上流露的女权意识对当时以公爵为代表的男权贵族统治阶级,以及对公爵本人厌女症发展的颠覆性破坏力量.
Abstract
Robert Browning is an important romanticism poet during the British Victorian Age.His most famous poem My Last Duchess not only perfectly embodied dramatic mondogue, but took the readers into a silent murder as well.Through the perspective of feminism, this article tries to analyze the duchess' s subversive power to the male dominated aristocratic class represented by the duke and to the development of the duke's misogyny.
