Theoretical Analysis of the Reading Materials in the Newly Revised Set of Coursebooks English of Hebei Province
Based on relevant principles of coursebook evaluation, this paper mainly analyzes the reading materials of the coursebooks theoretically from topics, authenticity, genre, language items, activities, and cultural awareness, to identify particular strengths and weaknesses of the materials and help teachers to adapt or adjust materials in the actual teaching practice.
