摘要
多丽丝·莱辛的小说《野草在歌唱》堪称是英国文学史上一部杰作的生态文学作品,作者在小说中无情揭露和抨击了殖民霸权主义践踏自然的暴虐行为.本文从生态批评的视角分析探讨了小说中自然伦理的违背从而看出莱辛想要人类与自然和谐共存的期望.
Abstract
Doris Lessing's The Grassis Singing can be either a masterpiece or an literary work related to ecological issues in the history of English literature.Lessing ruthlessly displays and attacks colonial hegemony which brings sufferings to nature also shows her deep concern for it.Through the close analysis of colonizers' trample on the nature,this paper attempts to probe into the violation of natural ethics in this novel so as to show Lessing's hope for the harmonious coexistence of men and nature.
