The Realization of Humor in E-C Translation From the Perspective of the Grammatical Metaphor——A Case Study of Two Broke Girls
Grammatical metaphor is an important concept of the Systemic Functional Grammar proposed by M.A.K Halliday (1985).[1] Different grammatical metaphors serve different functions in language which can offer different meanings.The propose is that different wording,congruent wording or metaphorical wording,effects differently in the humor of the language,aiming to analyze the realization of humor through the application of the grammatical metaphor in translation from English to Chinese.
