摘要
赫人乌利亚是《圣经·撒母耳记下》中关于大卫王和拔示巴的故事中的一个小人物.尽管乌利亚的存在只是作者为了突出大卫王某种品性的道具,但是他的存在却引起了许多读者的兴趣.绝大多数读者认为乌利亚是一个被大卫王愚弄的傻子.而事实上,乌利亚确实是优秀士兵的典范,但他绝不是一个傻子——他对一切事情了如指掌,并且不动声色地以自己的壮烈牺牲报复了大卫王.
Abstract
Uriah the Hittite is a character exists in the story of David and Bathsheba of 2 SAMUEL.Though the very existence of Uriah is to highlight some certain character of King David, it has aroused great interests out of readers.Most readers think Uriah is a foolish soldier who is fooled by King David.However, the fact is Uriah is really an ideal soldier, but he is not a fool-he knows everything, and he gives a strong revenge to the cruel and cunning King David at cost of his heroic death.
