Research on the Feasibility of Explicit Grammar Instruction in English Communicative Classroom
It is constantly under debate that whether the granmar teaching should be conducted and how to conduct in English teaching.While the two patterns of grammar teaching including inductive and deductive, can both combine the explicit grammar instruction with communicative tasks effectively.With the experiment based on the questionnaire, the result indicates that the prestige of the experimental class over the control class in terms of the performenco of the written and oral productions.It proves that explicit grammar instruction is feasible in the communicative clasarcom.And the design of class activities and tasks should be considered.Besides, some suggestions are presented to help coordinate explicit grammar instruction and communicative activities.
