Zhang Xuecheng has accumulated valuable writing education experience in long-term teaching practice.He put forward a series of unique viewpoints from historians'broad perspectives,main-ly including attaching equal emphasis on literature and history as well as good guidance for beginners;the view of subject construction of advocating the virtue of treatises and cultivating knowledge;the view of ar-ticle aesthetic that words have substance and complement the world and the stylistic training view of focu-sing on the whole and order.Although Zhang Xuecheng is mainly based on the teaching of stereotyped writing,his claims of writing education through literature and history still have profound universal signifi-cance and strong realistic pertinence and guidance.
