Geometric Analysis of Chinese Character Teaching Research Hotspots in International Chinese Education from 2000 to 2023
Through the bibliometric analysis of 93 papers published in CSSCI(including extended edition)and Chinese core journals of CNKI from 2000 to 2022,this paper reveals the research status and development trend of Chinese character teaching in international Chinese education in China in the past 20 years.The analysis results show that the current research on Chinese character teaching in international Chinese education is in the process of continuous and in-depth development,and the num-ber of achievements is stable.The core author group of international Chinese character teaching research has been formed,which has a great role in promoting the development of the discipline.From the perspective of research methods,speculative and non-empirical studies are the mainstay,while the number of empirical studies is small.In the past two decades,the re-search hotspots of international Chinese character teaching research have been divided into six topics:Chinese character teach-ing,Chinese character research,teaching theory,teaching methods,teaching material research and learner research.Generally speaking,the field of Chinese character teaching and research in international Chinese education has always adhered to the re-search direction of"Chinese character research as the outline,bias analysis as the mainstay",actively explored the research line of Chinese character teaching mode and teaching strategy,and strived to solve the fundamental problem of"difficult to teach"and"difficult to learn"Chinese characters as soon as possible.
