Compilation and Research on the Sword of King Yue from the Pingliangtai,Huaiyang
This article provides a detailed account of the excavation,collection,and seizure of five swords of King Yue and Prince Yue from the Warring States period discovered in the Chu tomb at the Pingliangtai,Huaiyang.It comprehensively clarifies the collection status of these five swords for the first time,and publicly reveals rubbings of the inscriptions on the sword hilts of King Yue and Prince Yue held by the Zhoukou City Museum and the Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology.Furthermore,it attempts to provide an interpretation of the inscriptions on the sword pommels.
