Study on the Diagnostic Value of CT and X-ray Examination for Spinal Fractures
Objective:Explore the clinical diagnostic value of CT and X-ray examination for spinal fractures. Methods:Select 60 cases of suspected spinal fracture patients admitted to Pizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022 as research objects, conduct CT and X-ray examination, and analyze and compare the clinical diagnostic value of the two groups of examina-tion methods. Results:The X-ray detection results showed that there were 49 positive patients and 6 nega-tive patients, with a sensitivity of 84.50%(49/56),a specificity of 60.00%(6/10),and an accuracy of 83.33%(55/66);The CT examination results showed that there were 52 positive patients and 8 negative patients, with sensitivity of 92.86%(52/56),specificity of 80.00%(8/10),and accuracy of 90.91%(60/66).The sen-sitivity,specificity,and accuracy of CT examination were higher than those of X-ray(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:Both X-ray and CT examinations have high diagnostic value for patients with spinal fractures, among which CT examination has relatively high value. The examination method should be selected based on the actual situation of the patient to improve diagnostic value and provide certain support for subse-quent treatment, which is worthy of widespread promotion and application.
