The Diagnostic Value of 64 Slice Spiral CT in Detecting and Following up Pulmonary Ground Glass Nodules for Early Lung Cancer
Objective:Exploring the clinical value of 64 slice spiral CT in detecting and following up pulmonary ground glass nodules(GGN)in the diagnosis of early lung cancer. Methods:Select patients who underwent lung examinations at Pizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangsu Province from January 2020 to May 2023 and found GGN as the observation subjects, and deeply explore the role and value of using 64 slice spiral CT to detect and follow up GGN in the diagnosis of early lung cancer.Re-sults:Based on the pathological biopsy results as the gold standard, among the 30 patients,5 were benign and 25 were malignant. The detection rate on 64 slice spiral CT was 93.33%(28/30),including 4 benign nodules and 24 malignant tumors. The detection rate was not significantly different from the pathological biopsy results, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);Through 64 slice spiral CT ex-amination,it can be seen that the detection rates of lobulation sign, hairpin sign, and pleural tail sign in malignant lesions are higher than those in benign lesions, with statistical significance(P<0.05),while the detection rates of vacuolar sign have no significant difference(P>0.05);After halfa year of follow-up and observation statistics, the malignant detection rate of GGN during follow-up and re examination was sig-nificantly higher than the detection rate of the initial test, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The selection of 64 slice spiral CT for the diagnosis of ground glass like nodules in the lung has a high detection rate and can clearly distinguish the different characteristics of the nodules.Through follow-up and re examination in the later stage, the detection rate of early lung cancer can be in-creased,making it easier for clinical treatment as soon as possible. This technology is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
