The Neuroimaging Research Progress of Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate Receptor Encephalitis
Anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(anti-NMDAR)encephalitis is a serious neuropsy-chiatric syndrome.Anti-NMDAR encephalitis is characterized by high incidence rate, long course,se-vere condition, poor specificity, and difficulty in early diagnosis. At present, the diagnosis of anti-NMDAR encephalitis mainly relies on antibody detection and neuroimaging technology.Conventional CT imaging has limitations in the diagnosis of this disease, while magnetic resonance imaging and PET imag-ing techniques provide scientific research methods for the diagnosis and efficacy evaluation of the dis-ease.This study mainly reviews the recent progress in magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography imaging studies of anti-NMDAR encephalitis, with a view to improving clinicians'under-standing of the disease and early diagnosis.
