The Application Value of Real-time Three-dimensional Ultrasound Combined with Intracranial Transparent Layer in Screening Fetal Prenatal Neural Tube Malformations
Objective:To explore the application effect of real-time three-dimensional ultrasound combined with intracranial transparent layer in screening fetal prenatal neural tube abnormalities.Meth-ods:A total of 2 500 pregnant women(11-14 weeks gestation)who underwent prenatal examinations at Zhaoqing Maternal and Child Health Hospital from April 2022 to September 2023 were selected. All preg-nant women underwent real-time three-dimensional ultrasound and ultrasound intracranial transparent layer examination, and the examination results were analyzed. Results:Though fetal follow-up/autopsy,11 out of 2 500 fetuses were found to have neural tube abnormalities.16 cases of fetal neural tube malfor-mations were detected through real-time three-dimensional ultrasound examination.17 cases of fetal neu-ral tube malformation were detected through intracranial transparent layer ultrasound examination. After joint examination,12 cases of fetal neural tube malformations were detected. There was no significant dif-ference in accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity between real-time three-dimensional ultrasound and ul-trasound intracranial transparent layer examination(P>0.05).Joint examination had higher diagnostic ac-curacy,specificity,and sensitivity(P<0.05)compared to real-time three-dimensional ultrasound and in-tracranial transparent layer ultrasound alone. Conclusion:The application of real-time three-dimensional ultrasound combined with intracranial transparent layer in prenatal screening of fetal neural tube malfor-mations has a significant effect and can clearly reflect fetal malformations, which is worth adopting.
