Value of Color High-frequency Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Thyroid Nodules with Different Properties in Healthy People
Objective:To explore the value of color high-frequency ultrasound in the diagnosis of thy-roid nodules with different properties in healthy people.Methods:100 physical examination personnel from February 2021 to January 2023 in Gansu Baoshihua Hospital were selected as the research object.All subjects were examined by color high-frequency ultrasound,and the results of pathological examina-tion were the gold standard.The detection of thyroid nodules,pathological examination results,ultrasonic imaging characteristics,ultrasonic detection results and diagnostic efficiency in physical examination population were analyzed.Results:50 cases of thyroid nodules were detected by ultrasound in 100 cases,and the detection rate was 50%.Among them,17 cases of thyroid nodules were detected in 45 male physi-cal examination subjects,and the detection rate was 37.78%.A total of 33 cases of thyroid nodules were detected in 55 cases of female physical examination,yielding a detection rate of 60.00%,and the detec-tion rate of female was higher than that of male,with statistical significance(P<0.05).50 cases of thyroid nodules were further examined by pathological examination,and 34 cases of benign nodules(thyroid glial cyst,nodular goiter,early thyroiditis,thyroid follicular adenoma,thyroid glial nodules with proliferative changes and proliferative thyroid nodules),16 cases of malignant nodules(follicular thyroid carcinoma,medullary thyroid tumor,follicular papillary thyroid carcinoma,papillary thyroid microcarcinoma)were detected.Different ultrasonic imaging features show that irregular edges,aspect ratio>1 and microcalcifi-cation were quite different between benign and malignant thyroid nodules.33 cases were benign and 17 cases were malignant,with specificity of 94.12%,sensitivity of 93.75%and accuracy of 94.00%.Conclu-sion:The detection rate of thyroid nodules in healthy people is higher,especially in women than in men.Color high-frequency ultrasound diagnosis has high diagnostic efficiency,and the ultrasonic imaging fea-tures such as irregular edge,aspect ratio>1,and microcalcification have important reference value for dis-tinguishing the nature of thyroid nodules.
