Clinical Significance of High-frequency Ultrasonography in the Diagnosis of Breast Cancer with Internal Mammary Lymph Node Metastasis
Objective:To analyze the value of high-frequency ultrasound in the diagnosis of breast cancer with internal mammary lymph node metastasis.Methods:Clinical data of 90 patients with breast cancer diagnosed and treated in our hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed,and all patients were divided into two groups according to the pathological results as the gold standard for the diagnosis of internal mammary lymph nodes.Among them,72 patients with metastasis were classified as the metastatic group and 18 patients without metastasis were classified as the non-metastatic group.Both groups of patients received high-frequency ultrasound scanning before surgery.The ultrasono-graphic characteristics of internal mammary lymph nodes in different groups of breast cancer patients were summarized,and the diagnostic efficacy of high-frequency ultrasound was analyzed.Results:(1)The ultrasonographic features of internal mammary lymph nodes mainly included four types,namely,nor-mal structural type,cortical thickening type,unclear lymphatic portal structure type and nodular soft tis-sue thickening type.(2)There were significant differences in length diameter,thickness diameter,number and structural types between the metastatic and non-metastatic groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the ratio of length-diameter to thick-diameter and blood supply between the metastatic group and the non-metastatic group(P>0.05).(3)Among all the 90 patients,74 cases of ultrasound diag-nosis were consistent with pathological diagnosis.The sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of ultrasonic diagnosis were 88.89%(64/72),55.56%(10/18)and 82.22%(74/90),respectively.Conclusion:Intra-breast cancer lymph node metastasis is most common with cortical thickening and no lymphatic portal structure,which are usually multiple.High-frequency ultrasound can effectively evaluate intra-breast cancer lymph node metastasis,and has a high diagnostic efficiency.
