Diagnostic Value of High-frequency Color Doppler Ultrasound in Detecting Postoperative Complications of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter in Patients with Five Common Types of Tumors
Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound in detecting complications of venous catheterization in patients with PICC.Methods:From July 2021 to March 2023 in our hospital,we retrospectively analyzed the results of regular high-frequency color Dop-pler ultrasound examinations performed on the catheterized veins of 150 patients with five common types of tumors after PICC placement at our hospital. Results:Among the 150 patients who underwent PICC,17 cases had complications detected by high-frequency color Doppler ultrasound before the end of treat-ment:mural thrombosis in 13 cases, phlebitis in 5 cases, local abscess formation in 1 case, soft tissue edema in 1 case, and 3 cases had both mural thrombosis and phlebitis detected simultaneously.Conclu-sion:High-frequency color Doppler ultrasound can make a rapid and definite accurate of the common complications of PICC postoperative venous catheterization, which is suitable for clinical diagnosis.
