Study on the Diagnostic Role of Color Doppler Ultrasound Blood Flow Signals and Parameters in Primary Liver Cancer and Metastatic Liver Cancer
Objective:To explore the the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound blood flow sig-nals and parameters for primary liver cancer and metastatic liver cancer.Methods:A retrospective analy-sis was conducted on the clinical data of 100 liver cancer patients admitted to the Physical Examination Center of Qujiang District People's Hospital in Shaoguan City from January 2021 to June 2023.All pa-tients were confirmed by pathological tissue examination,including 48 cases of primary liver cancer and 52 cases of metastatic liver cancer.All patients underwent color Doppler ultrasound examination to com-pare the differences in blood flow signals and parameters between the two groups.Results:The detection rate of primary liver cancer by ultrasound was 95.83%(46/48),which was consistent with the pathological results(Kappa=0.715,P<0.05).The detection rate of metastatic liver cancer by ultrasound was 88.46%(46/52),which was generally consistent with the pathological results(Kappa=0.695,P<0.05).The detec-tion rates of peritumoral blood flow signal and intratumoral blood flow signal in the primary liver cancer group were 93.75%(45/48)and 91.67%(44/48),respectively,which were significantly higher than 75.00%(39/52)and 67.31%(35/52)in the metastatic liver cancer group(P<0.05).There were significant differences(P<0.05)in the primary hepatic artery diameter,portal vein flow velocity,hepatic artery peak flow velocity,hepatic artery minimum flow velocity,and RI ultrasound blood flow parameters compared to the metastatic liver cancer group.Primary liver cancer ultrasound often presents as irregular shapes and varying sizes,mostly single lesions with clear boundaries,and ultrasound shows equal or low echogenicity.Metastatic liver cancer varies in size and shape,mostly with equal echogenicity and clear boundaries,pre-senting as a"target ring sign".Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound has high diagnostic value for primary and metastatic liver cancer,and can accurately reflect the blood supply distribution of the two.By using ul-trasound hemodynamic parameters,the two can be effectively differentiated and diagnosed,which is worth promoting.
