Qualitative Analysis of Dual-source CT Dual-energy Imaging in Urinary Calculi
Objective:To study and analyze the qualitative analysis of Dual-source CT dual-energy imaging in urinary calculi.Methods:286 patients with urinary tract stones who underwent examination in the Radiology Department of Chaozhou Central Hospital in Guangdong Province from March 2023 to De-cember 2024 were selected as the study subjects. All patients underwent dual source CT dual energy im-aging and traditional spiral CT single energy imaging examinations, and the composition of the stones was determined using infrared spectroscopy.Comparative analysis of differences in the composition of urinary tract stones. Results:A total of 598 stones were detected by infrared spectroscopy in 286 patients,includ-ing 402 pure component stones(67.22%)and 196 mixed component stones(32.78%).According to the re-sults,the stones were divided into uric acid stone group, mixed uric acid stone group, cystine stone group, magnesium ammonium phosphate stone group, calcium phosphate stone group, calcium oxalate and cal-cium hydrogen phosphate stone group, with 91,63,123,100,134,and 87 stones in each group.Using dual source CT dual energy scanning, the dual energy ratio, dual energy difference, and dual energy index of 100 KV and 140 KV image stones were calculated. There were differences in the above indicators among the groups(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in pairwise comparison between the two groups, including cystine and mixed uric acid, calcium phosphate and calcium oxalate and calcium hydrogen phosphate stones, while there were significant differences(P<0.05)in pairwise comparison between the other groups.Conclusion:Dual-source CT dual-energy imaging has definite ad-vantages in qualitative analysis of urinary calculi.
