Analysis of the Application Value of Transvaginal and Transabdominal Color Doppler Ultrasound in Diagnosing Early Ectopic Pregnancy
Objective:To analyze and evaluate the efficacy of transvaginal and transabdominal color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of early ectopic pregnancy. Methods:A prospective study design of 120 patients with suspected early ectopic pregnancy from June 1,2022 to March 1,2024.The patients un-derwent both transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasound examinations, and the results were subse-quently categorized into two groups:the transvaginal ultrasound group(observation group)and the trans-abdominal ultrasound group(control group),and the diagnostic accuracy and detection rate of typical sym-bol were compared. Results:The diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound reached 98.33%,which was significantly higher than the 83.33%of transabdominal color Doppler ultrasound(P<0.05).For early ectopic pregnancy, transvaginal ultrasound was significantly better in pseudosac(56.67%vs.31.67%),primitive beats(55%vs.0.35%),accessory areas(73.33%vs.53.33%),pelvic effusion(66.67%vs.31.67%)and external cysts(51.67%vs.28.33%)(P<0.05 for all comparisons). Conclusion:Although both methods have reference value for the diagnosis of early ectopic pregnancy, transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound performs better in accuracy and typical symbolic detection, and it is recom-mended to be preferred in clinical practice. The limitation of this study is the small sample size, which may affect the generalizability of the results.
