Application of Ultrasound Combined Scoring System in the Diagnosis and Localization of Urinary Stones
Objective:The incidence of urinary calculi in clinical practice is high, and its accurate di-agnosis is of great significance for clinical treatment, but the existing methods still have limitations. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the application of ultrasound combined with Visual Analog Scales(VAS)score in improving the accuracy of diagnosis and localization of urinary stones. Methods:A random-ized controlled trial was conducted on 128 patients with urinary stones who were admitted to the First People's Hospital of Zhaotong from December 2022 to December 2023.Patients were randomly assigned to the combination group(64 cases)and the control group(64 cases). The control group was only diag-nosed and localized by ultrasound, while the combined group was diagnosed and localized by VAS scale, and the diagnostic and localization effects of the two groups were compared. Results:The stone detection rate in the combined group was 98.44%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(89.06%)(P<0.05).VAS scores showed significant differences in ureteral stones(7.52±1.55),kidney stones(6.08±1.09)and bladder stones(4.62±1.10).Conclusion:Ultrasound combined with VAS score is an effective tool for the diagnosis and localization of urinary stones, which can significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis, and is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
