Research Progress of DTI Technology in T2DM with Mild Cognitive Impairment
Objective:The purpose of this study is to examine the use of diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:A thorough analysis of current research on T2DM and MCI has been conducted, with a focus on the use of DTI technology to assess the microstructure of the brain's white matter. Results:The study discovered anomalies in the white matter of T2DM patients in a number of areas, mostly centered on the superior lon-gitudinal tract, corona radiata, and corpus callosum. The alterations in these areas are intimately linked to cognitive performance. In the early stages of the illness, these microstructural alterations can be sensi-tively detected using DTI technology.Conclusion:T2DM-MCI evaluation benefits greatly from the use of DTI technology,a modern neuroimaging technique that facilitates early diagnosis and management. It is anticipated that deep learning algorithms in conjunction with other imaging technologies will become in-creasingly important in clinical applications in the future.
