Nursing Effect of Intermittent Atomization Inhalation Combined with Mechanical Expectoration on Stroke-associated Pneumonia
Objective To observe the nursing effect of intermittent atomization inhalation combined with mechanical expectoration on stroke-associated pneumonia. Methods A total of 44 patients with stroke-associated pneumonia treated by intermittent aerosol inhalation combined with mechanical expectoration in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 22 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine intervention, and the observation group was treated with mechanical expectoration airway nursing intervention. The sputum volume, hospitalization time, respiratory function index, complication rate, pulmonary infection score(CPIS)and nursing efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The daily sputum volume of the observation was larger than that of the control group, and hospitalization time of the observation group was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the blood oxygen saturation(SpO2)and oxygenation index(PaO2/FiO2)in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)and airway resistance(Raw)were lower than those before treatment, while the SpO2 and PaO2/FiO2 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the PaCO2 and Raw were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.55%,which was lower than 18.18% in the control group(P<0.05).The CPIS score of the two groups after intervention was lower than that before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of nursing in the observation group was 95.45%,which was higher than 81.82% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Intermittent atomization inhalation combined with mechanical expectoration nursing intervention has a positive effect on the efficacy of airway nursing for stroke-associated pneumonia. It can improve the nursing effect, reduce the score of pulmonary infection, prevent complications, improve respiratory function, increase daily sputum excretion, and shorten hospitalization time, with higher nursing effect and is worthy of clinical application.
