Effect of Three-dimensional Integrated Education Model Combined with Social Support on Breastfeeding and Postpartum Depression in Elderly Multiparas
Objective To explore the effect of three-dimensional integrated education model combined with social support on breastfeeding and postpartum depression in elderly multipara. Methods From January 2019 to June 2022,60 elderly multiparas received by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Fengxin County People's Hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 30 elderly multiparas in each group. The control group was treated with routine pregnancy education intervention, and the observation group was treated with three-dimensional integrated education model combined with social support intervention. The knowledge mastery, breastfeeding status[exclusive breastfeeding rate,Maternal Breastfeeding Evaluation Scale(MBFES)score],Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)score, postpartum depression[incidence of postpartum depression,Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale(EPDS)score]were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of maternal knowledge mastery after intervention in the two groups was higher than that before intervention, and the excellent and good rate of knowledge mastery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The exclusive breastfeeding rate and MBFES score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of each dimension of SSRS in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postpartum depression and EPDS score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The three-dimensional integrated education model combined with social support can improve the mastery of pregnancy knowledge of elderly multiparas, improve their breastfeeding rate, increase their social support, and reduce the risk of postpartum depression.
