Novel Role of Exosomes Derived from Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Bone Regeneration
Exosomes,as membranous lipid vesicles, are capable of fusing with intracellular multicellular bodies released into the extracellular environment.Exosomes derive from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells play a role in bone remodeling by regulating the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts and have become an effective method for the treatment of bone metabolic diseases. In this review,we summary the regulatory effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes on bone regeneration and the research progress of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes on bone regeneration after treatment with drugs and biological methods, providing theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of bone metabolic diseases.
