The Diagnostic Value of Medical Image Processing Technology in Kidney Disease
Evaluating the accuracy of renal function and structure is essential for the diagnosis and prognosis of renal diseases.Advanced medical imaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),ultrasound elastography(UE),and computed tomography(CT)can noninvasively detect renal structure, function, and molecular information, and suggest changes in renal tissue properties and functions. At present, artificial intelligence has the ability to transform traditional medical imaging technology into a fully automated diagnostic tool.In addition to the qualitative analysis of renal medical images, texture analysis is also combined with machine learning technology as a quantitative analysis method of renal tissue heterogeneity. It provides an auxiliary diagnostic basis for predicting renal dysfunction and is expected to become a new method for the diagnosis of renal function. This paper summarizes the research progress of different medical imaging techniques for monitoring renal diseases, and discusses the correlation between texture analysis and artificial intelligence,in order to provide reference for the diagnosis of clinical renal diseases.
