Preeclampsia is one of the main causes of maternal and neonatal death,and the drugs and treatment methods that can be used to prevent and treat preeclampsia are limited.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to new drugs that can be used to prevent and treat preeclampsia.Pravastatin can prevent and treat preeclampsia by regulating placental growth factor balance,increasing nitric oxide production,and reducing oxidative stress.This article reviews the mechanism of pravastatin and its related research progress in the prevention and treatment of preeclampsia.
