Effect of Cluster Nursing on Compliance Behavior and Pulmonary Function in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To study the effect of cluster nursing on compliance behavior and lung function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 85 patients with COPD admitted to Tianjin Chest Hospital from April 2021 to April 2022 were divided into control group(43 patients)and observation group(42 patients)by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received cluster nursing. The compliance behavior, lung function[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),forced expiratory volume in the first second/forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)],COPD assessment test(CAT)score,St.George's Hospital Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ)score and nursing satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of compliance after nursing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,FVC,FEV1 and FEVi/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of CAT and SGRQ in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Cluster nursing can improve the compliance behavior of COPD patients, improve lung function, promote symptom relief, reduce its impact on the quality of life of patients, and have good satisfaction feedback.
