Study on the Efficacy of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction Combined with Warm Acupuncture in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective To study the curative effect of Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis.Methods A total of 58 elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 29 patients in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,symptom score,pain(VAS)score,knee joint function(Lysholm)score and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group(95.00％)was higher than that in the control group(82.50％)(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of joint pain,swelling,stiffness and soreness in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The VAS score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment,and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The Lysholm score of the two groups after treatment was higher than that before treatment,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P＞0.05).Conclusion For elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis,Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion can improve the clinical efficacy,promote the recovery of knee joint function,reduce the clinical symptoms of patients,and will not increase adverse reactions.It has good application effectiveness and safety.
