Analysis of the Awareness Status and Influencing Factors of Cervical Cancer Screening and HPV Vaccination Among Women of Childbearing Age in Liuzhou City
Objective To understand the current awareness status of cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination among women of childbearing age in Liuzhou City,analyze its influencing factors,and provide corresponding policy recommendations for promoting cervical cancer screening and vaccination.Methods A total of 1800 women of childbearing age with different occupations in Liuzhou from July 2021 to February 2023 were selected,and their basic information,knowledge of HPV and cervical cancer screening,HPV vaccination and participation in cervical cancer screening were statistically analyzed.One-on-one interview questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze its influencing factors.Results The willingness of women aged 18-29 to receive HPV vaccination was 21.98%.The awareness rate of cervical cancer screening was 71.98%,60.97%and 48.07%in women aged 18-29 years,with college degree or above,government,enterprises and institutions,respectively.Women with primary school education and below,and income below 5000 yuan had the lowest awareness of cervical cancer screening,12.04%and 13.98%,respectively.The most important reason affecting vaccination and cervical cancer screening is low awareness,followed by price factors,concerns about vaccine safety and effectiveness.Conclusion Women of childbearing age in Liuzhou have insufficient knowledge of HPV and cervical cancer screening.It is necessary to improve the public's knowledge of HPV and cervical cancer screening.It is suggested to formulate vaccination and cervical cancer screening policies suitable for China's national conditions,popularize vaccination,expand the scope of screening,and reduce the incidence of cervical cancer.
