Effect of Comfort Nursing Combined with Staged Health Education on Maternal Recovery and Breastfeeding After Cesarean Section
Objective To study the effect of comfort nursing combined with staged health education on maternal recovery and breastfeeding after cesarean section.Methods From January 2019 to May 2021,60 pregnant women undergoing elective caesarean section in the Fifth People's Hospital of Guangxin District,Shangrao City were selected and divided into control group(30 pregnant women)and observation group(30 pregnant women)by random number table method.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given comfort nursing combined with staged health education on the basis of routine nursing.The postoperative recovery[ambulation time,postoperative catheter removal time,lactation initiation time,postoperative 24 h visual analogue score(VAS)],maternal comfort[Kolcaba's General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ)],postoperative complications,breastfeeding(lactation adequacy rate,exclusive breastfeeding rate)were compared between the two groups.Results The time of getting out of bed,the time of catheter removal and the time of lactation initiation in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the postoperative VAS score was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The GCQ scores of the observation group wwere higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The lactation adequacy rate and breastfeeding success rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comfortable nursing combined with staged health education can accelerate the postoperative recovery of caesarean section women,relieve their postoperative pain,improve maternal comfort,reduce postoperative complications,and improve breastfeeding.
