Clinical Efficacy of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Training Combined with Nutritional Intervention in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Complicated with Sarcopenia and its Effect on Quality of Life
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of pulmonary rehabilitation training combined with nutritional intervention in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with sarcopenia and its effect on the quality of life. Methods A total of 64 patients with COPD complicated with sarcopenia admitted to Taixing People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were divided into control group(32 patients)and observation group(32patients)by random number table method. The control group received pulmonary rehabilitation training, and the observation group received nutritional intervention on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, pulmonary function[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),FEV1/FVC],nutritional status[Short-form Mini-Nutritional Assessment(MNA-SF)],motor function[6 min walking test(6MWT),Short Physical Performance Battery(SPPB)],quality of life[St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ),36-item Short-Form(SF-36)]were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 93.75%,which was higher than 75.00%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of MNA-SF,6MWT and SPPB in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the scores of MNA-SF,6MWT and SPPB in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the SGRQ score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and the SF-36 score was higher than that before treatment, and the SGRQ score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the SF-36 score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pulmonary rehabilitation training combined with nutritional intervention is effective in the treatment of COPD with sarcopenia, which can improve the lung function of patients, improve their nutritional status and physical fitness, and is conducive to the improvement of patients'quality of life.
