Relationship Between miR-146,miR-26 Levels and Airway Inflammation,Airway Remodeling in Patients with Bronchial Asthma
Objective To investigate the role and mechanism of miR-146,miR-26 in airway inflammation and airway remodeling in patients with bronchial asthma. Methods A total of 75 patients with bronchial asthma(asthma group)and 25 healthy subjects(control group)were collected from March 2021 to January 2023 in Chongqing Nan'an District People's Hospital. The related molecules in blood and respiration were detected, and the shape and size of the airway were measured by HRCT scan. The correlation between miR-146,miR-26 levels and asthma severity, airway inflammation and airway remodeling was analyzed. Results The levels of miR-146 and miR-26 in the asthma group were lower than those in the control group, and decreased with the increase of asthma severity(P<0.05).The levels of FeNO,EOS%,IgE and HRCT parameters in the asthma group were higher than those in the control group, and increased with the increase of asthma severity(P<0.05).The levels of miR-146 and miR-26 were negatively correlated with FeNO level,EOS%,IgE level and HRCT parameters(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of miR-146,miR-26 are closely related to airway inflammation and airway remodeling in patients with bronchial asthma, which may be involved in the occurrence and development of asthma by regulating T2 immune response and nitric oxide synthase expression. The determination of miR-146 and miR-26 levels in peripheral blood may be helpful to evaluate the condition and therapeutic effect of asthma patients.
