Application Effect of Multidisciplinary Collaborative Nursing Model in the Nursing of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and its Influence on Self-care Ability
Objective To study the application effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model in the nursing of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and its influence on self-care ability. Methods A total of 108 patients with T2DM admitted to Tianjin Third Central Hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and divided into control group(54 patients)and observation group(54 patients)according to random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model intervention. The blood glucose indexes[fasting blood glucose(FPG),2h postprandial blood glucose(2hPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)],Engagement in Self-care Scale(ESCA)score,Diabetes Self-careActivitiesScale(DSCS)score,Self-perceived Burden Scale(SPBS)score,Diabetes Specific Quality of Life Scale(DSQL)score were compared between the two groups. Results The levels of FPG,2hPBG and HbA1c in the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention, and the levels of FPG,2hPBG and HbA1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The ESCA and DSCS scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and the ESCA and DSCS scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of SPBS and DSQL in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the scores of SPBS and DSQL in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model has a definite application effect in T2DM nursing, which can improve the blood glucose level of patients, improve their self-care ability, reduce the burden of patients, and promote the improvement of quality of life.
