Hyperglycemia in pregnancy is a common clinical manifestation during pregnancy,including gestational diabetes mellitus,prediabetes(impaired fasting glucose and impaired glycosuria),and pre pregnancy diabetes with pregnancy.With the development of social economy,people's lifestyle and dietary structure have changed.In recent years,the incidence rate of hyperglycemia in pregnancy has increased.Abnormal maternal glucose metabolism has a negative impact on the recent outcome of offspring.Early after birth,offspring are prone to hypoglycemia,respiratory distress,macrosomia,cardiovascular disease,and other serious health hazards.This article intends to elaborate on the recent outcomes of offspring related to hyperglycemia exposure during pregnancy,with a view to optimizing the diagnosis and treatment of this population and improving the prognosis.
