Clinical Study of Minimally Invasive Surgery Under Nasal Endoscope in the Treatment of Acute Dacryocystitis
Objective To study the clinical effect of minimally invasive surgery under nasal endoscope in the treatment of acute dacryocystitis. Methods A total of 64 patients with acute dacryocystitis diagnosed and treated in our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 32 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional anastomosis, and the observation group was treated with endoscopic minimally invasive surgery. The clinical operation and postoperative recovery indexes(operation time, operation preparation time, postoperative epiphora and pus time),pain(VAS)score, clinical efficacy, complications and aesthetic satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, postoperative epiphora time and postoperative pus time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The VAS score of the two groups on the 3rd day after operation were lower than that before operation, and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.88%,which was higher than 87.50%in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.25%,which was lower than 15.63%in the control group(P<0.05).The aesthetic satisfaction of the observation group was 100.00%,which was higher than 87.50%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive surgery under nasal endoscopy is effective in the treatment of acute dacryocystitis, which can improve the treatment efficiency, shorten the operation time, postoperative recovery time, reduce the incidence of complications, reduce pain, and improve aesthetic satisfaction.
