Effect of Tooth Extraction Site Preservation Technology on Alveolar Bone Mass and Alveolar Aesthetic Effect in Patients with Anterior Dental Implantation
Objective To analyze the effect of tooth extraction site preservation technology on alveolar bone mass and alveolar aesthetic effect in patients with anterior dental implantation. Methods From January 2021 to January 2023,68 patients who underwent tooth extraction and anterior dental implant in Leping Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 34 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine treatment after tooth extraction, and the observation group was treated with tooth extraction site preservation on the basis of the control group. After the extraction socket healed, oral implant repair was performed. The alveolar bone mass(alveolar bone height, alveolar bone width, alveolar bone density),attached gingival quality[attached gingival width, papilla index score(PIS)],implant repair effect[success rate of implantation, implant stability quotient(1SQ)[,and alveolar aesthetic effect were compared between the two groups. Results The alveolar bone height, alveolar bone width and alveolar bone density of the two groups before implantation were lower than those after tooth extraction, but the alveolar bone height, alveolar bone width and alveolar bone density of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The width of attached gingiva and PIS before implantation in the two groups were smaller than those after tooth extraction, but the width of attached gingiva and PIS in the observation group were larger than those in the control group(P<0.05).The success rate of implantation and ISQ score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of alveolar aesthetics in the observation group was 91.18%,which was higher than 70.59%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The tooth extraction site preservation technology can reduce the loss of alveolar bone mass, ensure the quality of attached gingiva, help to improve the success rate of implantation and implant stability, and the alveolar aesthetic effect is ideal.
