Clinical Effect of Deproteinized Calfblood Extract Eye Gel in Corneal Injury Repair and its Effect on Dry Eye
Objective To observe the effect of deproteinized calfblood extract eye gel in corneal injury repair and its effect on dry eye. Methods A total of 68 patients with corneal injury diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 34 patients in each group. The control group was treated with recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor ophthalmic gel,and the observation group was treated with deproteinized calfblood extract eye gel.The clinical treatment effect, corneal epithelial repair time, dry eye symptom score, corneal epithelial cell density and area, eye function index[corneal fluorescence staining score(CFS),tear film rupture time(BUT)]and clinical adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.12%,which was higher than 82.35%in the control group(P<0.05).The corneal epithelial repair time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the dry eye symptom score was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the density of corneal epithelial cells in the two groups was higher than that before treatment, and the area of corneal epithelial cells was smaller than that before treatment, while the density of corneal epithelial cells in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the area of corneal epithelial cells was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the CFS score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and the BUT was higher than that before treatment, while the CFS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the BUT was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 8.82%,which was compared with 11.76%in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Deproteinized calfblood extract eye gel can improve the repair effect of corneal injury, shorten the repair time, reduce the symptoms of dry eye, improve the ocular function index, increase the density of comeal surface epithelial cells, and reduce the area of corneal surface epithelial cells, with mild adverse reactions.
