Research Progress in MRI Differential Diagnosis of Postoperative Recurrence and Pseudoprogression of Glioma
Glioma is the most common primary brain tumor.During the postoperative follow-up period,if new enhanced lesions appear, imaging may be considered as tumor recurrence or pseudoprogression(PsP).Identifying recurrence or pseudoprogression after glioma treatment is crucial for the follow-up treatment of patients, and MRI has obvious advantages in distinguishing recurrence and pseudoprogression after glioma treatment. This article mainly reviews the research progress of MRI in postoperative recurrence and pseudoprogression of glioma, and summarizes the application status of different scanning techniques and different diagnostic methods in postoperative recurrence and pseudoprogression of glioma.Based on the full understanding of the two and the flexible application of imaging diagnostic techniques,in order to improve the diagnostic accuracy and reduce the misdiagnosis rate.
