Effect of Phloroglucinol and Misoprostol on Cervical Dilatation and Adverse Reactions Before Hysteroscopy
Objective To study the effect of phloroglucinol and misoprostol on cervical dilatation and adverse reactions before hysteroscopy. Methods From January 2020 to March 2023,60 patients undergoing hysteroscopic surgery in Hukou County People's Hospital were selected as the research objects. They were divided into phloroglucinol group and misoprostol group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The phloroglucinol group was treated with phloroglucinol for preoperative pretreatment, and the misoprostol group was treated with misoprostol for preoperative pretreatment. The preoperative cervical dilatation effect, cervical dilatation time, intraoperative blood loss, incidence of cervical tear, intraoperative complications and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the effect of preoperative cervical dilatation between the two groups(P>0.05).The time of cervical dilatation in phloroglucinol group was shorter than that in misoprostol group(P<0.05).The incidence of intraoperative complications in the phloroglucinol group was lower than that in the misoprostol group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the phloroglucinol group was lower than that in the misoprostol group(P<0.05).Conclusion Phloroglucinol and misoprostol are both pretreatment drugs before hysteroscopic surgery, the effect of cervical dilatation is similar, but phloroglucinol has shorter cervical dilatation time and lower risk of intraoperative complications and adverse reactions.
