Application Effect of Chain Nursing Intervention in Perioperative Period of Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
Objective To study the effect of chain nursing intervention in the perioperative period of patients with severe traumatic brain injury(STBI).Methods A total of 60 patients with STBI admitted to Nancheng County People's Hospital of Jiangxi Province from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into control group(30 patients)and observation group(30 patients). The control group was given routine perioperative nursing, while the observation group was given chain nursing intervention. The perioperative complications, the National Institutes of Health Neurological Deficiency Scale(NIHSS)score, the Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)score, the Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Assessment Scale(FMAS)score, the Mini Nutrition Assessment Scale(MNA)score, the Barthel index, and the Karnofsky Health Status Scale(KPS)score of the two groups were compared. Results The incidence of perioperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The NIHSS score of the two groups after intervention was less than that before intervention, and the GCS score was higher than that before intervention, while the NIHSS score of the observation group was less than that of the control group, and the GCS score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The FMAS and MNA scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and the FMAS and MNA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The Barthel index and KPS scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and the FMAS and MNA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Chain nursing intervention can reduce the risk of perioperative complications in patients with STBI,promote the recovery of consciousness and neurological function, improve the limb function and self-care ability of patients, and improve the prognosis.
