Effect of Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy Lavage Combined with Anti-infective Therapy on Pulmonary Function and Prognosis in Patients with Severe Pulmonary Infection
Objective To explore the effect of fiberoptic bronchoscopy lavage combined with anti-infective therapy on pulmonary function and prognosis in patients with severe pulmonary infection.Methods A total of 62 patients with severe pulmonary infection received in our hospital from June 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,with 31 patients in each group.The control group was given anti-infection treatment,and the study group was given fiberoptic bronchoscopy lavage combined with anti-infection treatment.The clinical efficacy,recovery(expectoration elimination time,cough elimination time,body temperature recovery to normal time,white blood cell count recovery to normal time,hospitalization time),blood gas index level(PaO2,PaCO2,SaO2),inflammation level(PCT,CRP),lung function(MMV,FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC)were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The sputum elimination time,cough elimination time,body temperature recovery to normal time,white blood cell count recovery to normal time and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of PaO2 and SaO2 in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the level of PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of PCT and CRP in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,MMV,FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Fiberoptic bronchoscopy lavage combined with anti-infection is effective in the treatment of patients with severe pulmonary infection,which can shorten the time of symptom improvement,improve the level of blood gas index and lung function,and reduce the inflammatory response of patients.It is worthy of clinical application.
